Jessener Skin Peel

A Jessner Skin Peel is often mixed with other acids to deliver optimum results for various skin needs. This peel is used to treat congestion, dehydration, hyper pigmentation, acne and general sun damage. A Jessner peeling treatment has the ability to dissolves the top layer of the stratum corneum (skin) that is damaged, to provide a smoother, softer skin surface, whilst also reducing follicle blockages resulting in the prevention of acne breakouts. When combined with lightening ingredients pigmentation can be reduced significantly and in many cases eliminated. Patients receiving this treatment can expect a mild shedding of skin. SPF 50 is mandatory both during and after treatments.

This specific peel can reverse pitted scarring that remains after acute acne, re texture and tone un-uniformed skin. A Jessner peel is able to penetrate the skin at different epidermal layers depending on desired results. This is also great to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles, prevent acne breakouts and reduce follicle blockages. The benefits of having this treatment will become visible once the unwanted dead layers of damaged skin that are on the surface have been removed and the skin has calmed down.

After receiving a Jessner Peel you can expect your skin to shed from day 3 and continue for up to 1 week. Some clients may not experience any shedding of their skin. This is normal although results will still be visible. Your skin will feel dry as the dead cells start to naturally lift away from the new, undamaged skin beneath. It is essential to keep your skin hydrated with the recommended products and keep using them until your skin returns to normal. SPF 50 is mandatory for all medium to deep chemical peels.
